He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth,   Luke 1:14

Prayers and blessings receive. I greet you in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus The Christ.  May this letter reach you in the best of health and happiness, rejoicing in the blessings bestowed upon us by our Holy and Merciful God.

As we approach this wonderful season of reconciliation, we must reflect upon the great principal of LOVE.  This love of God that led Him to sacrifice His only begotten son and reconcile us to Him, because by our own fault we became distant from Him.  He overlooked our inequities, was merciful towards our weaknesses, and focused only on the reunification of His creation; hence

God the word became flesh.

Our focus this season must not be on Christmas parties, gifts, lights and trees.  All of these must symbolize a purpose beyond what we perceive.  As we celebrate at gatherings, we must remember the true reason of our celebration.  As we exchange gifts, we must think of the real gift given to us in Jesus our Savior.  As we put up our Christmas trees, let us explain to our children the evergreen that represents life received through Him who came to us.  And as we turn on our lights for Christmas, we should kneel and pray that His light shines through our every act and thought – may our acts and thoughts reflect God.  Let us also brush all of our weaknesses aside and reconcile with one another in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

May the Lord bless you in all that you do and may He continue to watch over us all.  I wish you and yours a joyous Christmas and a Happy New Year.

In His Service,

Dearest in Christ,

Prayers and Blessing receive, “Grace be unto you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:2-6:

In this month of September many of us will be sending our children to schools for education. I pray that our Heavenly Father will help encourage and protect every child by his mercy and grace. I encourage each and every parent to be involved and always participate in the activities concerning their childs education. But let us not forget the religions education of our children. Through baptism our children received their spiritual body, and this body just like the physical body needs nourishment. We tend to forget the spiritual part mainly focus on the physical part and so our children grow physically and become wise through education with the secular world we live in, but either die spiritually or have very little growth depending on the spiritual nourishment they have received. Let us carefully consider what our children need most. I believe you would agree with me by having Jesus in the center of their life, our children would have the strength and wisdom, to accomplish all that is needed for a life full of peace and joy. Let us analyze the time our children spend learning about their savior. Is it enough?

I pray that he who had saved us will watch, protect, preserve, and guide us through our actions and give us the strength to offer ourselves to Him as a Holy and acceptable sacrifice. God Bless us all.

In His Service,

Father George Bet Rasho
