Flames were seen shooting from the eaves and windows as firefighters arrived on scene at 5955 North Lindley Avenue after the fire was reported at 6:36 p.m. Friday night.

92 responding firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department were able to extinguish the flames in 25 minutes, according to Devin Gales of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

No injuries were reported, though the church was heavily damaged in the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
