Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:1-2

We begin a new year again with the hope of having a better year than the previous ones. Let us question ourselves. How is that really possible? How can I have a better year as a person, or we as a church or nation? Can the year come with special air, or different skies, or can the ground really change under our feet? What must really happen in order for us to have a better year? Numbers and calendars will change, but the seasons go on and the ground is basically the same. The sun, the moon, the skies, all the same as they have been. The change must come within us humans. The way we treat each other, the way we commit, sacrifice, compromise, forgive, forget, etc… Unless we change, the years will be the same. So really again, I ask you. Do you want to have a better year? Your answer will be found in the way you act this year.
